In the tropical forest, in the ruins of Copan or on the riversides, Honduras shelters more than a hundred species of snakes, amongst which lots are venomous and even lethal. These include the coral snake with its neurotoxic venom, whose bright colors warn of danger, and the harmless false coral, which imitates the coral snake to impress its predators.
