Full of wild plants and flowers, the Corsican maquis is a land of a thousand scents. On the island, the medicinal use of their aromatic essences is an ancestral tradition. To preserve this plant heritage, the harvest is regulated by specifications. The molecules are extracted by steam distillation. Then the Florentine vase enables the essential oil to be separated from the hydrolat (floral water). It requires between 700 kg and a ton of fresh flowering tops to obtain a liter of Everlasting essential oil.
