Located on the North coast, the National Park of Blanca Jeannette Kawas covers more than 80,000 hectares and is home to a rare wealth of wild fauna and flora. An impressive colony of howler monkeys lives on the tops of tall trees, sheltered from hunters and poachers. Another monkey has also taken up residence in the canopy: the spider monkey, the largest primate in America.
