Honduras was marked by 300 years of Spanish presence. The cities of Comayagua, Gracias, the center of Tegucigalpa or Pespire are the witnesses of the Amerindian and the conquistadores cultures mixing. All are recognizable through the checkerboard organization of the town, the low colored houses and tile roofs, the buildings decorated with white stucco columns and the baroque churches facing a central park. ⠀
