Raja Ampat is an Indonesian archipelago located in the middle of the coral triangle, an area that includes the sea waters of Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and as far as the Salomon islands. It is the richest marine biodiversity in the world with 75% of all existing coral species on Earth. Scientists have recorded more than 553 species or ten times more than there are in all Caribbean seas.
