0
The leopard (or panther) is a solitary and territorial animal. Its scientific name is Panthera pardus. While it is the smallest of all “big cats”, namely the tiger, the lion, the jaguar, the snow leopard and the leopard, it is the most widespread of all wild cat species. It is found in all of sub-Saharan Africa, in the Middle-East, in India and in South-East Asia. It is famous for its capacity to adapt to numerous habitats such as deserts, mountains, jungles or swamps.
