Lenca Indians of Honduras
3
0
With a population estimated at 100,000 people, the Lencas are the largest indigenous group in Honduras. These Indians, who have occupied the territory since pre-Columbian times, mostly live in the mountains in the West of the country.
In many villages, women still dress traditionally, all wearing brightly colored hand-woven scarves.
