The work of Luther's association to preserve the mangroves

Benjamine, journalist and chief editor of The Explorers, tells us about the day we spend with Luther, president of the association Popwadene.
Since 2008, marine ecosystems in New Caledonia are listed with UNESCO as world heritage sites. In Poindimie, the association Popwadene works on a daily basis to protect the mangroves. Regular activities of mangrove plantation are organised, as well as awareness activities with inhabitants and children. The aim is simple: to protect but also to restore. We met with Luther, President of the association Popwadene, who shared with us his involvement for the Caledonian biodiversity.
