In the Canadian Arctic, the Nunavut is the largest and newest territory of the country. Its name means our land in Inuktitut, the Inuit's language. Occupied mostly by the Inuit, it is covered by ice during 8 months of the year, some of which sometimes forms hills. In this seemingly hostile environment, which is reached only by sea or air, its inhabitants continue to live in harmony with nature.
