The cocoa comes from the cocoa tree. In Honduras, cocoa was said to be born thousands of years ago, in a small village of the Ulua Valley. Thanks to its climate, its soils and its environment, Honduras seems to be the country of Central America where the best conditions for cocoa farming are combined! With an average of two harvests per year, their production is around 1,500 tons, of which 80% are exported to Salvador and Guatemala and 19% to Europe and the United States.
