For Marie-Louise and Moana, life in the Marquesas was an obvious choice. In recent years, the couple has taken over the family land and manage together a small fruit and vegetable farm in an isolated valley on the island of Nuku Hiva. Twice a week, whatever the weather, they load their horses and travel miles to sell their produce at the market.
