Hermann's tortoises laying eggs
2
0
In their natural environment, the most important movements of Herman tortoises are noticed when they are looking for water points in summer or nesting sites in spring.
For nesting sites, they are looking for open and sunny areas, with southern exposure, with a loose soil to dig. When tortoises are in a more or less closed environment, they can move of several hundred meters within a few days.
