The incubation time of scarlet macaw eggs is 28 days. On the 27th day, the chick has to break the eggshell with a kind of little "tooth" it has on the beak, and that will disappear then. If the chick breaks the shell and does not go out before the next day, our team will take action. Here is how we do it!
