The Corsican horse has been living in Corsica for approximately 2,500 years. It is the result of a crossbreed between Indo-European, Barb, and Arabian horses. Considered as a noble and free animal, unlike beasts of burden, Corsicans refer to it as “paganacce”, meaning “pagan” or “rebel”.
