Es una cascada de Islandia y está en una zona que hace miles de años era un acantilado que daba al mar. En español significa “río líquido” y cae cerca de 60 metros en lo que como ya hemos dicho fue una escollera al océano.
Estas cataratas marcan el límite de las llamadas Tierras Altas con el resto del país.
