One of the eight birds released on 30th of June was found injured by a family from Las Peñas, in Copán area. After providing good care, the family brought back the scarlet macaw to the Macaw Mountain care center. The bird, now in perfect health, has already integrated the scarlet macaw group from the archaeological site of Copán!
Thank you to this family and to everybody for supporting the conservation of our natural heritage!
