Looking for Javan rusa: teams ready to film
On November 20, The Explorers team went next to Bourail, in western New Caledonia, to look for Javan rusa. Alarm clock set up at 2 am, to be ready to film at the first streak of dawn, at about 4:30 am. Freddy and his son Dany welcomed us on their property to help us to find and to observe this invasive species, introduced in 1870 on the island. A beautiful landscape but also transformed over the years by the presence of this species. November 20th - 4:35 am local time
