Natural area and designation of terroir

The vineyard of Brégançon Castle extends on the maritime edge of the south-eastern geologically crystalline part of the Côtes-de-Provence designation terroir, the limestone part of which encompasses the north and west of the designation area. The geological and climatic characteristics of the terroirs contribute, in the same way as the blends and the wine-making commitments, to the personality of the wines produced. Brégançon Castle is part of the maritime edge natural zone, to which is added the La Londe terroir denomination that corresponds to the official recognition of a typicity by the National Institute of Origin and Quality (INAO).
