Young male impalas training for fight
1
0
Impalas have a relatively developed social structure. In a herd, there is one dominant male and several females with their offsprings as well as other immature males.
At around one year old, these males become sexually mature and leave the herd to constitute or to join a bachelors group. They learn how to fight, and will try later, not before 4 years old, to impose themselves individually, to establish their territory and their harem.
