The locality of Bormes-les-Mimosas opens onto the Mediterranean Sea to the south, level with the district of La Favière and its port. It extends over 60.4 sqm (97.32 km²) between the municipalities of La Londe-les-Maures to the west, Collobrières to the north, La Môle to the northeast, and Le Lavandou to the east. Home to 8,223 inhabitants in 2018, Bormes-les-Mimosas is the city center of the urban unit of Bormes-les-Mimosas-Le Lavandou, which also includes the municipality of Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer and brought together 14,798 inhabitants in 2017.
