When perched, the Kuhl's Lorikeet regularly stretches its leg and wing on one side before moving to the other. This is the perfect opportunity to admire the magnificent plumage of its wings. Finally, it spreads its wings wide to allow the blood to circulate in its muscles. This silent stretching is different from the aggressive deployment of wings accompanied by screams that can be observed in case of rivalry between birds.
