Mélanie Pfister represents the eighth generation of a family of winegrowers. She is also the first woman in the lineage to take over the estate. The vines of the Pfister Estate are located on the clay-limestone soils of the commune of Dahlenheim, an agricultural village in the Bas-Rhin. André Pfister, Mélanie’s father, was a precursor in the preservation of the soil and in the choice of stainless steel vats with thermoregulatory. It was also he who initiated the production of Crémant d’Alsace at the estate. Mélanie Pfister continues the tradition with great respect for the environment.
