In the South African savannah, there are two special times to observe the animals : in the morning and in the evening. In between, it is often the furnace and the animals take refuge in the shade or hide. By stationing near a water point early in the morning, you can - by arming yourself with patience - hope to see the animals come to quench their thirst.
