Warthog's tusks

Male and female warthogs have tusks. They are continuously growing canines and a formidable defense weapons. The upper canines may reach up to 60 centimeters, and the lower canines more than 10 centimeters. They both also have warts made of skin and cartilage just below the eyes. In males, that have an additional pair of warts just above the tusks, these excrescences are larger. They protect their face and their eyes from their rivals' tusks during the fighting.
