Oman’s wadis, fresh water springs and pools, are incredible. The often turquoise waters are at perfect temperature to cool down during the hot days and warm enough to swim in for a while. During our extensive trip through Oman we visited the most emblematic wadis of the country as well as some hidden ones where we spent hours jumping and diving from rocks and canyoning through. This specific wadi in the photos is a local’s favourite. On weekends families gather here with cooler boxes and food to have lunch together and enjoy the refreshing wadi. After spending the night by the wadi (wild camping is just the way to go in Oman!), we met these young people taking photos of themselves by the beautiful wadi.
