Le Vouvray est un vin blanc français d’appellation d’origine contrôlée. Il est produit autour de Vouvray en Indre et Loire et s’étend sur 2200 hectares environ. L’AOC est reconnue par décret depuis septembre 1936. Les vins de Vouvray sont présentés comme des «vins de garde ». Ils acquièrent une belle maturité au bout de 5 à 10 ans de garde.
