Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue is a coastal village of the Cotentin peninsula in the Manche department. Already recognized by UNESCO in 2008 for its historical heritage and its towers imagined by Vauban, it was voted France's favorite village in 2019. It is renowned for its gastronomy based on oysters raised in the open sea, its surroundings, and its à la Normande way of life.
