The small racing car has been an emblematic toy of the Vilac house since its creation in 1911. It is made of solid beech wood from Jura. The second most common leafy species in France, beech offers a high availability and a homogeneous wood whose light natural color oscillates between gray-white and pinkish beige. Each tree - from 98 to 131 feet (30 to 40 meters) high for a maximum diameter of 4.2 feet (1.30 m) – can give shape to a great number of small cars !
