Viticulture and lavender farming
2

Vine and lavender are two riches of Luberon. The vineyards mainly located between 656 and 1,476ft (200 and 450m) of altitude - as here close to Roussillon - benefit from the mild Mediterranean climate. The ripening of the grape varieties is favored by the excellent sunshine of the region (2,600 hours of sun per year) and the significant thermal amplitude allows the good re-hydration of the vines. So many favorable conditions for both viticulture and lavender farming.
