Laterally placed, the eye of the zebra allows a very panoramic angle of view of 215°. Its binocular vision, which brings the perception of reliefs and the appreciation of distances, covers only 60 to 70°. The ovoid shape of the zebra’s eyeball ensures that it can clearly see from far or near, without accommodating its vision.
