Ulukhaktok is one of two villages of Victoria Island, the second-largest island of Canada. Located in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, it is surrounded by sea ice for much of the year. The Inuit who live here regularly go there to hunt the pinnipeds or marine mammals it contains.
