Part of the Lalique Museum in Wingen-sur-Moder retraces the career of René Lalique, the founder of the brand that bears his name. Alternately a renowned jeweler, a perfumer, and an innovative master glassmaker, his curiosity also drove him to decorate large liners such as the SS Normandie. Lalique also participated in adorning prestigious trains like the Orient Express or the Pullman Express. His visionary creativeness had him constantly solicited, and he triumphed during the Paris World Exhibition of 1900.
