The main resources of Notre-Dame de Sénanque Abbey's Cistercian monks come out of spiritual retreats, visits of the abbey, and lavender culture. The abbey offers a hostelry accessible to people wishing to share the praying, contemplative, and silent life of the community. It is also open to visitors who can admire the abbey church, the old dormitory, the cloister, the boiler room, and the chapter room. The entrance fees contribute to Notre-Dame de Sénanque Abbey's maintenance and restoration. They are supplemented by the sale of lavender essence, honey, biscuits, berlingots, and other products offered at the Abbey shop and by the religious bookstore.
