Vanda coerulea is a plant in the Orchidaceae family. It is an epiphytic species native to the Himalayas.
It is the most used for the creation of hybrids.
The destruction of its habitat threatens this species. The purchase and sale of specimens collected from the wild is prohibited worldwide.
It is one of the few orchids of blue color, highly sought after by orchid lovers.
