The name of the Fontaines Parfumées first appeared in the 1920s after the Pélissier-Aragon association took over the estate located next to the spring of La Foux in Grasse. The site first conducted the distillation and enfleurage of perfume plants before taking advantage of the tourist development of the French Riviera to open its factory to visit.
