The castle and the church of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois

Perched on a hill covered with meadows separated by hedges, the village of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois attracts the eye with the multitude of towers, dungeons and steeples that rise to the sky. These are mainly the towers which flank its imposing fortress with a polygonal enclosure built at the end of the 12th century to protect the south of Auxois and, on the right, the bell tower of Saint-Philippe and Saint-Jacques church.
