The bell tower with an octagonal spire covered with Burgundy glazed tiles from the 12th century church of Saint-Germain dominates the village of Monthélie, in the Côte-d'Or department. To its right, we can see the roof, also in glazed tiles, of the castle of Monthelie, a building from the 16th and 18th centuries, associated with a 10 hectare wine estate on the Grands Crus route of the Burgundy vineyards.
