The grape is the fruit of the work of the winegrower. A year of work is summed up in three weeks of harvest. After a year of patience, monitoring and care given to the vines, the results are observed in the fall. The picking is not done at a random date. Each wine-growing region must wait to receive the prefectural authorization to start the harvest: this is called the harvest ban.
