The Kulh Lorikeet - also called Vini of Rimatara - is a small parakeet of 7 feet (18 cm) endemic to Rimatara and omnipresent on the Polynesian island. It belongs to the family of lorikeets. It owes its nickname 'Te Uravaero e te Moho' (color thief) to its multicolored plumage with green, yellow, red and violet.
