The three capes of Camarat (photo), Lardier, and Taillat, in the south of Saint-Tropez peninsula, are the subject of protective measures for their fauna and flora by the Coastal Protection Agency. A protected area of 121 acres (49 ha) is managed by the Conservatory of Natural Areas of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region and the municipality of Ramatuelle. They deal, in particular, with the access to the site, the fire risks, the landscape rehabilitation, as well as the channeling and awareness of the public.
