The former farm of the neighboring Fort de Brégançon was acquired in 1935 by Louis Ferrari. It moved away from the cultivation of flowers and early vegetables in 1964 under the leadership of Mireille and Serge Ferrari, the heirs of the third generation, who devoted themselves fully to the estate's original wine-making activity. In a few decades and with the help of their son Sébastien, the coastal vines of Château Malherbe have become a regional reference. Its organic, fine, and iodized or intense and mineral wines embody the local terroir and reflect the spirit of the Ferrari family.
