The territory of Bormes-les-Mimosas extends from the Mediterranean coast in the south to the Maures Massif in its northern part. The historic village and its ramparts were built on a hillside several kilometers from the coast in the 12th century. It is surrounded by agricultural land mainly dedicated to olive growing and viticulture (9%). Bormes-les-Mimosas is part of the Provence AOC olive oil and Côtes-de-Provence La Londe areas of designation. The discontinuous urban network occupies 8.5% of the territory of the municipality, 66% of which is covered with forests and sclerophyllous vegetation.
