From May to the end of September 2018, visitors of Carcassonne were able to wander in a city transformed by the presence of the contemporary work of art of artist Felice Varini. This work, commissioned to celebrate 20 years since the city was listed by Unesco, was created at a specific location on the ramparts. The site was chosen by the artist for the density and extraordinary dimension offered by the panorama. 15 bright yellow circles adorned the walls of the medieval city, spreading over the towers and battlements.
