From the vestibule of the Villa Majorelle, the staircase with ivy decoration in oak wood occupies the space. It was designed by the architect Henri Sauvage and executed by Louis Majorelle. Its twisty handrail symbolizes the strength and growth of the ivy, the foliage of which diminishes as it rises. The Villa Majorelle is a global work shaped by various artists invited by Louis Majorelle to express their creativity following Art Nouveau nature patterns.
