Located in the southern Rhône valley near Gigondas, Rasteau, and Cairanne, Séguret is a land of viticulture. Its vineyard covers nearly 1,730 acres (700 ha), which accounts for a third of the 5,200 acres (2,104 ha) territory of the municipality. It is spread over three very distinct terroirs guaranteeing a great diversity of wine production: the alluvial terraces bordering the Ouvèze river to the west, the slopes at the foot of the village, and the hills east of the municipal territory. The vineyard of Séguret produces AOC Côtes-du-Rhône Village wines or Vin de pays de la Principauté d'Orange labeled wines.
