The medieval terrace of Villarceaux extends near the Saint-Nicolas Tower, the oldest part of the original castle. It houses a garden with medicinal plants as in the Middle Ages. In a monastic style, these simple plants retrace how people used to heal themselves at that time. Baptized garden of the witches, it brings together a whole pharmacopeia of herbs somewhat fallen into oblivion today but whose beneficial or malefic properties were said to impact personal destinies.
