Almost a hundred years after their creation, the different variants of the Bugatti Type 35 still represent the archetype of Grand Prix racing cars. From 1924 to 1927, this model and its derivatives reigned supreme in motorsport. Behind their wheel, Bugatti pilots won no less than 1,851 races, which earned the Type 35 the nickname Pur Sang (Thoroughbred). The Cité de l'Automobile displays a collection of 150 racing models.
