Constructed from 1211 to 1275 and consecrated in 1360, Reims Cathedral, formerly a church, served from the crowning of 31 kings of France. Its oak frame burned down during World War I and was reconstructed by Henri Deneux thanks to an innovative technique using assembled reinforced concrete elements. This principle was initiated during the 16th century by Philibert Delorme, a renowned architect from the Renaissance.
