The kingdom of off-piste at the forefront of sliding sports, the high mountain resort of La Grave in the Hautes-Alpes department attracts experienced skiers from all over the world. Centered on the two-sections cable car of the Meije glaciers, this resort favors the wild character of the mountain and the simplicity of the facilities and accommodation. It offers powder-snow lovers a 5.6 mi long (9 km) slope with a vertical drop of 7,053 ft (2,150 m).
