The Mont-Dore is a family ski resort whose attractiveness relies on its geographical location in the center of France and the panoramas offered by its slopes. Its 25.4 miles (41 km) skiing area is relatively small and overcrowded but remains interesting for freeriders. The daily pass gives access to the 52.2 miles (84 km) of slopes of the Grand Sancy domain. It includes the Mont-Dore and Super Besse resorts, but the connection between the two sites, located in the windy summit area, is not always open.
